When selecting organizations and charitable endeavors to support, the TITAN Impact team focuses particularly on projects that address more than one of the five key areas we look for.
These are the following:
- Community development
- Health and well-being
- Education
- Environmental protection
- Sports
So how could we resist the opportunity to help the Danish girls’ under-14 Rudersdal Håndbold club, which brings together young athletes from the towns of Ydun, AB, Brøndby, Ledøje Smørum and Virum ?
Sports, community development, health and well-being are all there, so it’s no wonder we’ve been helping girls for several years .
Our latest project was a new kit: the young players not only needed a shiny white jersey for their matches, but also a warm-up suit that would keep them warm during training in the famously cold Danish winters.
As the picture shows, the girls were able to personalize their gear with their own numbers – just like their handball heroes on the Danish women’s national team, one of the best teams in the world.
WHY DID WE DECIDE TO SUPPORT THIS PROJECT?
This project means so many opportunities for us: young female players, a fantastic sport that is growing in popularity, and players from different surrounding areas. TITAN Impact is about building communities and driving positive change, and Rudersdal Håndbold embodies exactly that.
